How does WalMart do either free one day two day delivery via on shipments over $35? WMT offsets it with profits from their brick and mortar business to try and compete with Amazon online. Amazon had to diversify by manufacturing tablets and other devices, as well as back end services like Amazon Web Services, which power a ton of websites and is extremely profitable. Chewy and Amazon donโt have brick and mortar so they need to figure out another way. Amazon did. Chewy hasnโt.

I don't know who my UPS guy hates more, Chewy or my wife. She orders three 50# bags at a time when they have a sale. This. Except our order is cat litter. I'm the one who has to lug those boxes into the garage. We changed up and now order the 6 pack of 10lb boxes of cat litter. The UPS guy still hates us.

I have several retrievers, usually a litter or two per year, and train some before selling them. I order bulk from them, I know the Fedex guy hates me but he stacks the boxes in my shop and I don't ever have to touch them. Service is outstanding, had an order messed up and they sent more bags without even questioning it. They are always throwing extras in the box such as toys or treats. Had the wrong kind of food and they asked I donate it to the local shelter, which I did.
I hope they figure it out and stay around because I love them.

Chewy.com is a subsidiary of PetSmart, so do in a roundabout way do have brick and mortar stores. My daughter has been using them for the past couple of years to purchase dog food for two large labs and has been very pleased with their service. Orders are always delivered in a very timely manner and she receives discount coupons from them on a pretty regular basis.

So I am getting jelly, I spend $100 a month with them on auto ship to feed my two massive dogs and they never send me coupon or an extra treat or toy in the box.

This is bull hockey! Call 'em and up the ante. Of course it might be dependent on amount and length of time as a customer.
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools

It also went public this year, which I didnโt realize. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/c...-humanization-products-seller-2019-05-03
