If you are not watching live, its pretty good theater. I cant watch it all, just picking up some here and there. I did see the Prosecution and Defense opening statements in full. Not impressed with either side.

No debate on what needs to be done, if she should be charged or not, yada, yada, just a PSA to watch if you some if you can.

She intentionally pulled the trigger twice, hitting him once. She intentionally shot him. It wasn’t an accident. That’s why she is on trial.

She made a mistake and went to the wrong apartment. A tragic mistake, but a mistake nonetheless, and shot a man eating ice cream on his couch.

This saga has me perplexed about the whole thing. It was either a terrible accident or something fishy between the two. Interested to see what comes out in the trial.

the so called dirty pictures/conversations were between her and her boyfriend had nothing to do with her shooting the guy.....you won't ever read this or hear it said but the real reason for what happened would be considered too racist to be allowed as testimony......it's unfortunate but the real cause of this unfortunate and tragic shooting is complex and has several; different causes....
first off a police officer is exposed to traumatic occurrences far more than the average person which tend to make them nervous or apphrehensive... ..add the fact she is a woman who by physical nature cannot defend herself as well as a man.....additionally it is likely that 90% or more of the criminals she encounters in her job are black.....while it wasn't justifiable, it is understandable why she reacted as she did when she encountered a black man in what she thought was an intruder in her apartment.....

Agreed, she did not accidently pull the trigger, BUT she (needs to be proven) did accidently go to the wrong apartment. Mistake...accident, same word just don't take it out of context.
