Having a couple of problems with mine and wanted to see if anyone else is having the same. First the connection for the transducer that comes from the motor to the head has a threaded silver male female connector. Mine has some how pulled the connection apart and ripped the male threads off that side. Second when I running in ruff water with the troll motor in the stowed position and strapped the shaft slides up as high as it can go. I would think that it would lock in place when in the stowed position. I have the keeper on top super tight and it is not moving but I don't see anything to keep it from sliding up. Let me know if you have a fix...thanks!

Get a troll tamer for it, best $100 you can spend to keep the wear and tear down on the bracket when running in rough water and trailering.
I used 2 small sheetmetal screws to attach the strap to the mount.

I have the 54 inch haft; so I keep my motor up and the knob keeper tight to keep it form going back down during the day when deployed. Even at that it will work itself down a couple of inches during the day. I can't imagine the motor working itself up in rough water. It takes two of us to pull the motor up a few inches to fish in shallow water. I want the strap coming across the motor foot just in front of the foot If it is there and strapped there is no way that the motor can work it's way up any farther.

There is nothing to keep the shaft (and the collar that keeps it at the height you want) from moving up. Mine rarely moves more than a couple inches though. Move your strap further forward so it can't slide any further than that.
Your other problem requires a new transducer.

If it slides up you’ve got your kick stand too short. There should be a bow in the shaft when it is stowed. That tension will not let it slide. Stowed I can not Possibly push mine up at all.
I use The stock stand it comes with and no strap.

The transducer threads ripping is because of a defective design. The lift handle/cable runs under the cables and then rubs/rips on the cables when you pull up to deploy the trolling motor.
