I hate bars. Bars and nick do not get along.
That being said we were at our kiddos sporting event this evening and one of the ladies pops off with “it’s my birthday we’re going honky Tonkin this weekand.” My wife loves bars and going out and dancing and bla bla bla. So she’s like hell yah we’re going . I don’t want to go . I told her we’re not going . Some how I’m a batsage for not wanting to take her out . And driving home plastered .
How do I get her to see my side I like to party at home and crawl home . I like to go party where my kid can go have fun with there kids and everybodies having a good time . I like to party with my folks in my hood . What’s the problem am I an arsehole or what ?

She knows when she drinks shots she gets stupid and annoying. She will say just one and that leads to more. Then she falls over. And when I played in bands she would go and do the same thing. She is a pain in the arse to be around when she drinks.

Never hated bars but never liked the idea of paying $6 for a bourbon drink when I can buy a bottle of Welles’s for $35. Plus the idea of drinking and driving bothers me now days where in college I was just stupid.
