Never been on Murvaul but guessing they had to nuke it because of the Salvinia. Hopefully their efforts to add some vegetation back to the lake will help.

Yes sir, they have been fighting the salvinia for a few years now. Did lots of spraying last year and like the article said, they killed a lot of other vegetation also. Couldn't be helped I'm sure. Has not hurt the fishing any....just have to look in other places. To whom much is given, much is required.
