Tim Bister is a great guy who is very passionate about our lakes and the fish that live in them. Never been on Murvaul but guessing they had to nuke it because of the Salvinia. Hopefully their efforts to add some vegetation back to the lake will help.

Murvaul was a heck of a bass fishing lake in the late 60s 70s. Glad to see some hope.

Murvaul was a heck of a bass fishing lake in the late 60s 70s. Glad to see some hope. Nothings changed except for the slot limit. It's still an excellent fishery.

Did lots of spraying last year and like the article said, they killed a lot of other vegetation also. Couldn't be helped I'm sure. Has not hurt the fishing any....just have to look in other places.
