Also FYI the Walmart in GBC is rebuilding their Murphy gas station and they are adding ethanol free per their signage.

Buc-ees also has it at most locations. Royce City and Melissa both have it.

I live in Van Alstyne and the Valero station at the 121 exit has it. Usually only 20 or so cents higher than the regular.

Last time I filled up my boat (about a month ago now) it was about .25 a gallon higher than 92 octane unleaded ethanol at the Buc-ees in Royce City.

Noticed Buc-ees doesn't have any water, squeegees or paper towels to clean your windshield. Highway travelers are the ones who need these the most. Guess the cheap gas makes up for it. Also noticed lots of folks leave their cars parked at the filling stations while they go in and shop. The difference in price isn't worth the hassle for me.

The one in Melissa is $1.99/gallon for regular 87 pump gas.

Cheaper a little further north at the Valero in Van Alstyne.

They are usually 8-15 cents cheaper than the stations in their area but you won't know until you pull in because the prices aren't visible from the highway. Half the people that go there go for the shopping ( it's become a tourist destination ) and not the gas prices. I don't even bother with them anymore, like I said not worth the hassle. I usually shop at Murphy or Race Trac because of the reward points and too because they are usually the cheapest.

Are any of you aware of an ethanol free gas station near Richland Chambers (other than the marina pumps)?

Just because you can, doesn't mean you should!
