 Idle reset procedure on Chevy truck

My truck threw a code and I cleaned my throttle body. I can’t get it to relearn idle speed. According to the Internet I need to use a tool to get the truck to relearn it. I don’t have the tool. Anyone have one? I’ll come to you and can pay cash. Ideas to accomplish this without a few thousand dollar tool are also welcome.

Try disconnecting battery for 10 mins then re hook.

Try disconnecting battery for 10 mins then re hook. It’s unhooked as I type. Was give it more like an hour.

Cycle key twice
keep brake depressed
put on e-brake
start and put in drive and wait while it relearns

I tried that first. Including driving it. No luck. I’ve talked to 2 mobile mechanics that both said to leave the battery unhooked for a while. Giving that a try. One of them can come tomorrow with the right computer if needed.

it takes five minutes with a scanner. find a local shop, if they charge more than 40.00 never go back. I would do it free on Monday....although I am in Waxahachie
