I am primarily a saltwater fishermen, but I receive a few "noodles" for fishing. My question is, how many hooks do you use, and how heavy of a weight if any do you use? How do you rig them up? If any pics, that would be great. I plan on fishing the trinity before mouth of trinity bay. The noodles are foam, and about 24" in length. Thanks in advance.

Weight depends on conditions, but seeing as how it's a river, I'd be afraid of fish running off if they're unattended. I like limb lines for rivers.

do you secure the Noodle to anything, or do you just let it float wherever? Also, do you have to write your name and address on the noodle? Sorry guys, bear with me, I'm trying to learn this new method.

Thanks guys, I'll just use the noodles for lakes. I also plan on going to lake tawakoni in june. That'll be a good time to try them out. Yellow Cat, thanks for posting the pic, that really helps alot.
