Very nice. You got yourself a keeper if your bride will fish with you on your anniversary.

She was trying to plan our next trip before we even got off that boat. She wasn't a big fisher person before she met me, but now she wants a tarpon and a mahi mahi.
The water at the marina was chocolate milk, it had been raining a bit while were were down there, so I was worried. But once we got out away from the main Canal channel, water clarity was crazy. I would put it over 20-ft, and the guide said it is clearer usually.
Panama is more known for big game fishing for tuna, marlin, roosterfish, Cubera Snapper, etc. I didn't realize they had Peacock Bass until my wife decided that was where she wanted to go, and I started doing some searching. We could have gone offshore every day we were there the bay in front of the resort was glass. It's also has the only river in the world that you can fish for tarpon that that empties into the Pacific.

What is that blackish colored fish? It looks like a badass Cichlid.
