Fished those river lakes for over 50 years. Hate to see this. There was supposed to have been a hearing on an injunction that was filed by the Mcqueeney HOA stopping the river draining. The hearing was scheduled for today. Saw this on KSAT News. I do not know the outcome but I am sure it will be on this evening news.

Injunction was granted. Another hearing on Sept. 16

Several plans according to friends of mine who live on Mcqueeney are being discussed. One plan is the State coming in and providing the funds. Another plan is a special sales tax being made in the affected counties to pay for the dam repairs. Bottom line is the GBRA has no money at all to manage anything much less fix anything! "Miss Management" at it's best!
