I'm trying to get HumminbirdPC setup on a new laptop. On the old one, the interace between HumminbirdPC and Google Earth worked very well.

The problem is that when I'm in HumminbirdPC and I click the icon to 'Open in Google Earth', just nothing happens. No error message, no Google Earth trying to open... nothing.

I've un-installed and re-installed both HumminbirdPC and Google Earth. I was hoping that I'd get the chance to supply the path for HumminbirdPC to find Google Earth, but that's not happening. And I can't find the setting anywhere to provide the path manually.

I'm running with the latest version of HumminbirdPC, 4.5.8 on Windows 10.

Any help is appreciated.

If the "View in Google Earth" option greyed out or shown in black?

If "View in Google Earth" can be selected try opening Google Earth first then HumminbirdPC.

Texasbassdude, I have the same problem. It should open up cause it looks like the rest of the icons that are connected. But it doesn't. It looks just like the image above, black "View in Google Earth."

Try opening Google Earth Pro first and then HumminbirdPC.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Yes, from the File menu, "View in Google Earth" is black (not gray and inactive).

I also tried opening Google Earth first, but to no avail.

Find or create a .KML file.

From Windows Explorer(File, not Internet) right-click the KML file and choose Open With, the select to Always Open with Google Earth.

Go to TPWD Locations of Fish Habitat Structure if you need a KML file to download and use.
