 cook corn in husk in microwave

i did this years ago and forgot about it...as i remember, it works like a charm...my question is, can i freeze the corn, in the husk right out of the garden, take it out of the freezer, let thaw, then cook it in the microwave...???...my wife says no, but i can't see why not...sure would save a lot of prep time to eat fresh corn on the cob~~~!!!~~~ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ75-64Gm5w

Unless it's flash frozen I think that it'll be mushy when you cook it.
I could be wrong.
Take one ear and freeze it for a day or two, then microwave it and see what happens.

We just did some a month ago. Husked ears and wife blanched them then vacuum sealed 2 ears to a bag with butter in it too. Pop bag in microwave and salt and pepper to taste. Turned out great! She said they wouldn’t do well in freezer unless blanched. Never tried freezing in husks.

Never had any luck with frozen corn on the cob. Always mushy. We do fresh in the microwave all the time. Cut both ends off the ear and cook 3-4 minutes per ear turning once in the middle of time. Place the ear on one end and peel the husks and hair off, Very easy.

We've always boiled with butter and milk for about 5 minutes. Fresh sweet corn comes out great
|

do mine in the husk turning frequently on a very hot grill 15 minutes until well charred. whack the ends off and then shuck. squeeze on fresh lime juice or that bottled stuff, then sprinkle w chile powder and cotijo cheese (or fine parmesan). no butter or salt needed. you'll feel like your at the state fair. love me some fresh corn.

You can do this after 4 min of microwaving too, and yes, she's better looking than you too.
