I received the Lance Vick Lake Fork boat lanes file that is supposed to be for garmin electronics. I have an echomap 93sv plus unit and I installed the boat lanes file onto a micro sd card. When I put the card into the unit and attempt to merge the file with the unit it says “none found”. I used a garmin program on my computer and it shows the boat lanes data on a map of lake fork so I know the data is correct. It appears my garmin unit isn’t recognizing the file which is an adm file. I attempted to use another micro sd card but had the same results.
Has anyone installed the lake fork boat lanes on a garmin unit and if so what do I need to do to upload the data on my unit? Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Not yet. Still trying to figure it out. I haven’t been able to even find anyone who has the fork boat lanes on a garmin unit.

I had the same issue butIf you haven’t done it yet call them and they have will send you the corrected file. You can also use the garmin software on your PC to change the file type so it works.

I downloaded the quick draw maps for ray roberts and ray hubbard from the quick draw community and when I put the SD card in my 73sv said maps not found but I zoomed in on both lakes and they were actually there. Thought that was weird. You may try that. Open up a map and scroll over to Fork and zoom in. May show up.

Lance Vick Boatlanes files use track-segmentation. Track-segmentation is the merging of numerous tracks as track-segments in one track.
Garmin units do not support track-segmentation, so Garmin units will incorrectly connect the track-end-points of each segment.
Garmin Support knows about this, but you Garmin users need to pressure Garmin to correct this. Track-segmentation is a GPX standard.
Lance and Lori have special Boatlanes for Garmin users which contains numerous tracks. Problem is Garmin maximum number of tracks is 50. The most current versions of Boatlanes exceeds this 50 maximum.
Todd Driscoll and I have report this to Garmin support, but Garmin has yet to fix.
