My used boat came with a 60 hp engine but no trolling motor so I added a bow mount structure: ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/7UzLVz2.jpg) Since I won't use less than a 55 lb thrust Minn Kota, I added a support beneath it seeing as the recommended max thrust is only 35 lbs.and that motor is much lighter: ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/Oj3UD8m.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/lXyy1Kw.jpg) I can go top speed and the bracket holds fine. (Not a good idea to use the 5th speed according to Minn Kota.)

[quote][/quote]Alot of work for just that. My 80 pound thrust just has 4 holes and same amount of work. It also auto deploys and is removable also.

i gotta say it ain't pretty, but if it works and your happy with it, that's all that matters. the only other thing i would recommend would be to add a safety strap connecting the trolling motor to the hull in some fashion just in case the mount breaks

Brocraft Deck Mount Trolling Motor Bracket/Outboard Motor Mount Amazon; 2 sizes; free shipping for Prime
Remember, to support a motor heavier than 35# thrust, you need to add a padded support directly beneath the mount as pictured. 4 holes - that's it.
