Ever since you stopped smoking, you’ve turned into a tool

No, it was long before that

Quitting smoking and getting married are alot alike. It's not that hard to do either but staying that way can sometimes be difficult.

Just read through all 4 pages, yeah I know, but it seems you are the one with issues. Lighten up.

Bad choice of words. Lighten up sounds too much like light up.

Hang in there and stick to it. I quit after 30 years and it was hard but have been smoke free for 6 years. It gets easier and your body will heal

I'm on my 5th time to quit smoking. The longest lasted 5 years. Coming up on another 5 year mark in October. Due to my poor track record, I can only say I think the 5th time is the charm for me. My problem is, I have never gotten to the point where I hate the smell of smoke. I cold pick up an American Spirit and smoke it right now ... and especially after a few drinks.

Good luck David and stick with it!

The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

My grandfather smoked a pipe for 60+ years and quit cold turkey.
Of course, my grandmother had thrown out all his pipes and tobacco when he was sleeping and because he had Alzheimer's he forgot he was looking for his pipe after about 15 minutes.
