Just wanted to let everyone know that Jeff is trying to break his own world record for the most number of fish caught in a 24hour period. He has done this several times. He just started at 10 this morning and they are streaming it live on Facebook. Jeff is a Rep for Humminbird. He does this for a couple of GREAT causes, our Military and “Fishing for Life”. He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet and just an all around Class individual. Let’s wish him Good Luck. https://marathonmanfishing.com/
Have a Blessed Day, Mike

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! Congrats but how in the hell does anyone catch that many bass in 24 days much less 24 hours. That's an average of 90 per day if he did it in 24 DAYS! That's crazy. Can someone explain this?????

Can someone explain this????? he was catching blue gill ^^^^^^^^ This. He uses a pole with just line connected directly to the pole with no reel. He uses maggots as bait and just drops the line in the water. His hooks don’t have barbs on them so it makes it easier to remove the fish. A few times he caught a different species of bigger fish which he really didn’t want to do because it takes too long to get the fish in. Every so often he will throw some of the bait in the water to do some chumming. This morning, he did actually have to use a spinning rig for a little bit because the fish moved a little deeper. I don’t care what kind of fish he was catching, that’s a heck a lot of fish to catch. If I remember he also has the unofficial world record too with over 2600 fish. There are some videos on the above website and Facebook. He is one of the nicest people you could ever meet and I’m so glad he broke the record for such a great cause.
Have a Blessed Day, Mike
