Had Sachse PD bring us two of our packages from an arrest in Murphy Thursday. It is a misdemeanor now , but 9/1 it is a felony. We found our ring doorbell videos from Wednesday. They were following USPS and FEDEX thru our neighborhood. Each time one would drop off a package , they grabbed it off of our front porch within 3 minutes. It didn't matter that it was a box of Rodan and Fields makeup and a powder supplement for my lab. AND , they were still in their car n the original boxes with our address. Bunch a idiots

From what I read you have to have taken mail/packages from more than 10 residences to qualify as a felony This extracted from another article: The State of Texas is cracking down on porch pirates because on September 1, stealing mail from more than 10 porches or mailboxes will land somebody in prison.

I think that porch pirates here in the Bluegrass might just disappear never to be found again.

I think that porch pirates here in the Bluegrass might just disappear never to be found again. You would think that would be the case in TX too , but sadly , not
