My first trip to Conroe tonight and fishing all weekend. Any advise on where to locate the fish and what they are biting on.

i think they just have hybrids, but i could be wrong. if you can locate some top water sandbass action the hybrids will be below them. i used to catch them with 1 oz rattle traps.

havent been there in a year or so. used to fish the lake atleast once a month with my uncle before he passed away. we did best with the sandbass in the winter on a jiggin spoon. i do know that there was always decent top water action going on in the warmer months.
