He is catching 20+ (bass?) a couple of times during the week and one day over 30 (bass?) at Fork?? He should become a guide if he is doing that well out there right now.
He is catching WAY more than anyone else that I know of out there.

He is a guide and has been for a few years. fish

Does he have pictures to back up that claim?

Not that anyone has to prove anything to anyone but yes he does have pics and I see them regularly.

Is it hard to believe that some are catching fish and others are not? hmmm

If he does, he should post them here and on FB. He'd probably be the busiest guide on that lake right now. He may already be the busiest. Idk who it is, but just saying.

He posts them of FB almost daily.

I don't know if he is a member here or not but I don't see a lot of other guides on here posting pics but maybe I just don't see them.

He stays booked almost every day, or so it seems, so I don't know if he could be any busier. cheers

Well then he certainly is doing good out there at Fork catching 20+ and 30+ bass per day out there. Awesome. I haven't heard of anyone else doing that good out there right now in the heat of the summer. I would love to book a trip with him. What is his name, I want to call him and see about booking a trip if possible. Im sure there are a lot of people that would want to book a trip with him since he is catching that many bass per day in August.

I’m going to let you in on a secret; there’s always someone whacking em... dog heat of the day, 110 degrees. Just because you can’t catch, doesn’t mean no one else on that lake isn’t either. Get you some binoculars and watch others.

You are right about that! cheers

Just look at the MLF BPT Red Crest Championship Round:

Weight # Caught
1st Edwin Evers 85 - 06 63
2nd Greg Hackney 40 - 07 22
3rd Greg Vinson 29 - 06 20
4th Zack Birge 28 - 07 19
5th Fred Roumbanis 23 - 06 11
6th Mike Iaconelli 20 - 13 14
7th Brent Ehrler 19 - 12 11
8th Jacob Powroznik 17 - 13 10
9th Brandon Palaniuk 15 - 11 8
10th Michael Neal 12 - 12 9

Opinions of the MLF BPT / BASS / FLW aside these are 10 of the (arguably) best fishermen around and some of them didn't have a very good day. eeks

Mark we had an epic day once on docks at Fork. I cannot remember exacts, but the quality and numbers were excellent and we caught most off of docks.

Yes we did. You know which dock the 4 good fish came off of too. It's crazy as I have taken several people there and called the shot on a 6lb plus. It's great to watch someone who thinks you might be messing with them until they catch a big fish off of it. Best dock on Fork by far.

Mark are talking about the one way up north?

Well that went from a helpful post full of good shared info to a bunch of know it all, finger pointing, doubting Thomas trolling didn’t it? “The right to remain silent...without the ability”! laugh

I talked to Zach Hughes just a minute ago about some hunting we are doing this weekend. And they were at 8 so far this morning. So 20 a day is believable for sure.

It's funny nowadays nobody believes you can catch fish unless you post pictures to prove it.

We average 10-15 most mornings but not all - and we're only getting a few picture fish. The evenings have been better for us with numbers 15-25 (sometimes better/sometimes not - not a lot of picture fish right now. But these are my numbers for most days.

Like Zach said - you need to burn a lot of fuel this time of year. We're covering a lot of water and you have a small window of opportunity.

FYI it isn't just me. I know a lot of people fishing the lake right now and I just think he overstated how many bass his "buddy" is catching right now. Have you noticed that he did not post the name of the guide that is catching 20 and 30+ fish per day? There a lot of great guides out there at Fork but the dog days of summer are just that. Some days are good and you can get them to bite and some days you can't . It isn't the guides or the lake, that is just the way it is in the heat of the summer. That is why it is called the dog days of summer. It is just tough to get them to bite, and like I said before, it isn't just Lake Fork, it is many lakes around the area.

Exactly. You have to do a lot of searching to put numbers in the boat. Just because they are ganged up on a spot doesn't always mean you can get them to bite, but Lake Fork guides know the best places to find them. Its what they do.

That has nothing to do with Fork or your "buddy".

So who is your "buddy" that is catching 20-30+ bass per day at Fork right now? Simple question.
