After an extensive search online, I've resorted to taking suggestions from the community. where in the world are all of the "new" 2016, 2017, 2018 Mercury XS (pro or racing) models (225 or 250)? The ones that never went on a boat, were excess inventory, got pulled off for HP upgrades after 30 hrs, etc? I cant seem to find any dealers with anything besides the new 4 strokes.

It’s not new, but someone in Del Rio (Olin Jenson) was selling a fairly new 250 Pro xs (2017 maybe). It’s somewhere’s in this site.

I don’t think it was much more than 100hrs, but I can’t find his post anymore. Maybe I saw it on Facebook or something.

The 2 strokes got SNAPPED up. Good luck running across a new one. I sold the last “demo” new 2017 I came across months ago quick. Nothing since.
