My neighbors motor quit. , The lights are on , will not run or turn. Shows full charge, replaced batteries in remote,
Tried foot control. , no joy.
Bad. mother board .?..
Anyone had this problem.?

Mines in the shop right now for the same issue. Water in the motor was the culprit. Needs new brushes and brush plate along with bearings. Cost was going to be $200 to replace parts and clean it up. Opted for a new motor assembly for $380 but is back ordered until Sept 4th. Damage was my own fault. Lat last year I smacked it pretty hard on some rocks and twisted the end plate with the skeg. I loosened it to realign it and should have replaced the o-ring and seal then. Thought all was ok and it was for a few months then started to get noisy. Sad part was it quit when the bite was on.

Turns out the batteries were loose in the remote
