Went out last weekend but it’s been slow. Had 5 wakeboard boats swamp us, had water over the bow, boat rocking. Had a pontoon boat full of ppl in the boat and water 200 yards away drift 5 yds from my boat and spot we were fishing. Like literally 5 yards away drunk as skunks with my line in the water. I was in shock to even yell at them. We still caught fish even after they passed us.

Been to long

Went creek fishing last Saturday and to the lake on Sunday.
It was slow, but managed to catch a few.
Lots of fish were suspended at the 14 foot depth in 20-30 fow.
Caught them on shaded bluff walls next to timber with a lighter trig and finesse jig.

I have been the last several Mondays. Have been able to catch 5-6 bass a morning on Lewisville before getting off the lake at 11am to beat the heat. Squarebills and topwater doing most the catching.

Last few weeks been spending some time fishing for bluecats as well...thats been a steep learning curve but I plan to try again this next Monday.

I caught the #3 @ Long John Silvers Tuesday at lunch.

We hauled just over 200 lobsters this morning.
