Me and some buddies are headed to Laguna Madre/Nine Mile Hole area in the middle of October to target trout and reds. I have never done this before so I am curious, are there specific areas or structures to look for? Depth? Etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am just a bass fisherman in NE Texas lol

"Nine Mile Hole" is a massive shallow bay. Weedless spoons, Trout Support Grasswalker or top waters will all catch fish. Its shallow with a lot of mud. Watch for signs of fish, slicks, etc you'll find the fish. Across the ICW from Nine Mile you will find Rocky Slough. I've caught some nice trout wading the rocks in the Fall.
Tight lines
