Anyone here fish at seawolf park? I’m thinking about making the drive down from Dallas on Friday and fishing Friday evening/night. How would the crowds be at that time? Is the fishing any good from the park?

I was there yesterday night, only caught some small sand trouts on live shrimp,
Most of everyone was not catching anything up to 10pm.

Most of the catching down here have been at night this past week. Not many anglers on the water due to the heat. The Full Moon coming up doesn't help matters either. Are you planning to fish from the pier or on the Galv. Channel side? Deeper water near the channel may hold some descent fish. A med-hvy rod setup and cut bait is used in the channel.Might want to bring some hvy weights if the current is strong.

if your trying to beat the crowds i suggest going during the week. Its going to be packed during the weekend nights.
