After returning from a little vacation I’ve fished every day since this past Thursday and the fishing has been awesome! I’ve been catching multiple keepers per tree too which is nice. Minnows are still the ticket tipped on a jig head. Water depth really doesn’t seem to matter. I’ve caught them in 12 foot of water and 30 foot of water. We’ve been catching some really nice ones as well. It’s really a good time to be timber fishing. If you’d like to go this week I have Friday morning open. I also have some morning openings next week. Timber fishing is 100 percent the best way to catch bigger fish on Ray Roberts. If you’d like to learn how to fish timber or just want to go catch some fish, let me know!
