Anybody fished it lately? Specifically here.

Drive by it daily thinking of giving it a shot. Not sure how deep it is.

Usually fish it between Royal & MacArthur. Good for Largie’s casting parallel to the bank, crappie usually hang around the bridge supports under the street lights at night. Have seen some people catfishing too.

Only thing is I usually only fish this place at night, not sure if las Colinas patrol would run you off or not if they see you fishing.

I've fished the area off 114, Royal and Beltline. The part in the neighborhood with the fountain.
It was really shallow, and had several small bass. It was fun.
I fished early morning and nobody seemed to care.

I was in Irving during the week and noticed this place. Maybe I'll make a stop during my lunch break on day? What baits do you recommend for a quick visit and is there decent size bass in this area?

I've fished here for bass and carp, only managed to catch bass and a large softshell turtle after fishing it all day.

Give a man a fish he can eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and you can get rid of him for the entire weekend!

Fished the water off Royal one time below one of the spillway dams. Caught a crappie and a bass that were both yellow in color so I never fished it again LOL.
