They have been contacted by an LCRA Ranger, whom I have just reached out too and asked if there was a timeline given as to when this had to be removed, because as of this AM, they have not....

This is why I prefer COE lakes which prohibit docks. Too often they fall into a state of disrepair, even the best of them are ugly and distract from the natural beauty.

I wouldn't be surprised if the property owner is a well connected individual and nothing gets done.

It seems to me that if a homeowner wanted to have a steady population of fish around his lighted dock it would be better to run the lights all the time night after night, not just when he is out there fishing. I'm thinking fish aren't going to rush over from down the lake or across the creek when he turns on the lights for a couple of hours to fish. Does someone who owns a dock with either flood lights above the water or lights under the water have thoughts on whether this is true?

I'm thinking fish aren't going to rush over from down the lake or across the creek when he turns on the lights for a couple of hours to fish. Does someone who owns a dock with either flood lights above the water or lights under the water have thoughts on whether this is true? Many of the green lights are suppose to be run to keep them clean and operational. On those types, turning them off is actually shortening the lifetime of the light. My experience at Fork on the green lights, I have one favorite that was good at producing numbers and large fish when it ran all night, every night. I spoke to the owner once and because of damage caused by fishermen to the lights and dock, he turned them on a timer only working during certain hours. He gave me the times that they operated and I try them every time that I go but they've never been the same since they weren't on all night every night. I rarely ever catch a fish on them. That said, if the dock is in the right location with the right depth and something nearby that keep fish close by, when the lights come on they will eventually attract the bait fish and the bass will follow. My experience is that when fish have a consistent pattern, they will be much more consistent on being there.
