 Left Turn Clyde Motorguide XI5 issue

I have a Motorguide XI5 trolling motor with a foot pedal. Everything on the foot pedal works except turning left. When you push with your toe it will turn right but when pressing with your heel there is not any response. has anyone had this happen. Its prolly an issue that has to be taken to the shop but wanted to give it a try here first. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you have to replace foot pedal , I have never used the one that came with my unit, I would sell

I have one, pedal lasted 4 months. Got a new one from motorguide, their customer service is worse than AT&T ever was! it all works now but rarely put it on the boat...It is nice when I have the kids and I use the remote. I went back to my old tourney cable steer.
