The 24v 80Lb Ultrex manual recommends running "a battery" with at least 105 Amp hour rating. Does that mean each of my deep cycle batteries need to be rated at 105 Ah or both combined need to total at least 105 Ah? Thx for help in advance.

The batteries should be 105Ah each. Grp 27's usually are.

I assume that "2 24dc" means Two Group 24 deep cycle batteries?
What batteries are they? I have never seen Group 24 battery with 105 amp hours, but that would be a good find!

Thanks!

When you wire two 12v in series, you get 24v at the same ah rating. (104 amp hours in your example)
If you wire them in parallel, you get 12v at twice the amp hours (208 amp hours in your example)
