Went out today for a couple of hours and caught 45. I found fish at Long Ridge, Key Ranch, Key Ranch North and Merimac Point. The fish are still running small - 11 to 12 inches on average. I used a #2 in addition to #4 Mepps and caught the 4 or 5 bigger fish (13 to 14.5 inches) on the #2. Fish were in 16 to 20 fow.

Glad to see you're back reporting. I passed your dock several times over the weekend. On Sunday your cove was one of the only calm places on the lake. I really was pushing my trolling motor to the limit. I found a large school of small fish at game warden in about 18ft. Also on the west side of spillway and east side of merimac. About 10 nice fish for every 30 or so caught. I was using a #4 mepps, maybe should have tried the #2. Will try that next time.

Today was my 1st time out since the 16th (Working on family projects). I checked Saint Annes Point East (6 sandies 10 to 12 inches)), Campbell's Hump (nothing), Dam Drop-off (nothing), Dam Ridge (9 sandies including 2 that went 14 inches and a short hybrid), Drew's Humps (nothing), A-Frame (nothing), Long Ridge West (10 sandies and a 23 inch hybrid), Iron Wall Hump (6 sandies and another 20 inch hybrid) and Slide Hump (20 more sandies including a dozen 13 to 15 inchers, another short hybrid and 2 more 20+ inch hybrids) for total of 52 fish. Still catching on Mepps #4. The fish did not quit biting at any of the spots where I caught them - I just wanted to check out more places.

Went again yesterday and checked out Spillway Hump and Enchanted Isle Ridge. Found fish on both catching 53 whites in a couple of hours. Of those 27 were 13 to 15 inches - the rest were the 10 to 12 inchers we are seeing so much of this year. The NW drop-off on Spillway Hump and Enchanted Isle Ridge produced mostly the bigger fish - about 75% of fish at these spots were the bigger ones. I caught them on either a #4 or a #2 Mepps plain Aglia spinner. Water depth was 19 to 20 fow.
