Headed up next week for a few days at Mountain Harbor. Will be mostly pulling the kids on tube, etc. but bought a few big jigging spoons to see if I can run into a striper or two. Any general tips appreciated. I assume little to no topwater action this time of year?

My daughter and I went with a guide this time of year a few yrs ago. Morning we targeted topwater fish and afternoon it was livebait over the trees. Daughter broke off a monster in the trees

Ditto on the beautiful lake. We rented a house boat and parked it in a cove for a week. Lots of little islands all over the lake to "hide from the wind". Took my bass boat to pull the kids and do some fishing. If you have good graphs check out on the end of the points down near the dam. It's deep clear lake, so like most of them live bait works better than just about anything. As far as LMB I did pretty well on topwaters early back up in the back 1/3 of the last arm left of the dam as you're facing it. You'll love it.

Break lines off any of the many groups of islands will hold stripes early, prior to sunup. After that they will be on the flats till mid morning. Live bait is the only way to get stripes there and you have to purchase it as net throwing is not legal. Only three stripes per person and no culling.
