How much is reasonable to expect on the replacement of a fuel pump on a 2002 Yamaha 150HP? (parts and labor)

If you talking about the Low-Pressure Diafram Pumps they are about $40 and I would think an hour or so labor (labor in the ballpark of $70 to $100 an hour)

Thanks CADD but not sure what a Low Pressure Diafram Pump is. All I know is it's NOT the HPDI motor.....it's the ox66 model.

Runs about 1400.00 to change the high pressure electric pump. Replacing with Yamaha parts

Thanks Gary. I think I like the sounds of the low pressure pump way better. When the repair guy asked if I had the HPDI and I said no, he said I would be very thankful for that. So my assumption is the ox66 will require the low pressure pump.

Assuming your model is VX150TLRA you'll see the pumps here Boats.net VX150TLRA Fuel 1 Diagram
They act as lift pumps to pull fuel from the tank to the high-pressure pump, they are diaphragm pumps using crankcase vacuum to work, the diagrams only last so long [Linked Image]

You have a high-pressure fuel pump also, the OX66 and HPDI are very similar OX66 shoots fuel into the intake runner and HPDI right into the cylinder.
