There's lots of what you can feed them. Just for fun, I googled "purina catfish chow" and came up with all kinds of stuff--floating or sinking at buyer's choice too. Cracked corn is likely the cheapest. For intermittent entertainment, a can of corn will set you back a buck or so. Torn up bread might be better 'cause it tends to float.

Jackie Lake Granbury is the lake. I can I'd the channewlls easiy but think(know) they are blues,yellows but cannot really tll difference.
