The Cool Front that blew through on Tuesday caused us to cancel that day's trips but we fished the remainder of the week and it felt like Springtime on Richland Chambers!!! The Front packed a pretty good punch as Tuesday's North Winds were gusting over 20 MPH by mid morning. The next few days had brisk East/NE Winds and temperatures in the 60's each morning. It felt so good and the fish responded with some early AM Schooling on the 309 Flats. We got spoiled on Monday as the fish stayed up almost 4 hours and we never left the Flats. Caught Big Whites and Hybrids! Wednesday was "fair to good" with a couple of hours of Top Water, Thursday was slow, and we had a crowd (Maybe 20 Boats) show up on Friday. I left the Flats quickly on Friday to get away from the Crowd and go up the Lake to get our fish. We continue to catch most of our fish on RSR 1oz. Silver or Chartruse Slabs and Jig Teasers. We're fishing Humps and Points in 10'-20' FOW and going up both Creeks to find our fish after leaving the Flats.
