I fished with Fred yesterday on Decker. We had a very good day despite very tough wind conditions. Wind was blowing out of the north at 15mph with gusts over 20. Water temp 90F. We fished the outside edge of weed beds and caught fish from 7-10 inches with a few dinks. Bluegill, Red Ear, and a wide variety of hybrid sunfish. Only caught a couple of small red breast which was a stark contrast of the trip I took there with my son the first week of June which was almost all red breast action. Decker is indeed an excellent sunfish lake with very healthy fish. We caught them in 8 to 10 feed of water using BOC and maggots on down shot rigs. Fred bird dogged these fish and I give him major kudos. A great day on the water !

Doc...Awesome fish & really nice pics. We had wind issues on Fayette yesterday as well. Just curious...what is BOC ? Also, which "arm" of the lake were you fishing, and did you try the dam area at all ?

Steve - BOC = Bait of Champions grin In this case the Red Wigglers from Academy. Maggots from Speedyworm.com
Also, I neglected to mention that for a good part of the morning Fred was doing every bit as well with Gulp Minnows
in chartreuse and white on a downshot rig. We fished the northern arm of the lake.
