The wife and I are going up to broken bow/beavers bend area. Anyone know of the best places to put in your kayak along the river for some good fishing? Thanks guys.

I was there last weekend. Get a map of the lower mountain fork and look at the red and blue zones. Those zones determine the bait and tackle that are allowed. I didnt take my kayaks but the next time I go up there I will bring them along. Its beautiful in the early morning on the river you will have a good time.

I just spent 4 days in the Dogwood campground. You could easily launch from the campground.

It's a snake pit, and not the nice cute ones. Also if you go, pull your truck up the hill... DO NOT LEAVE IT at the water's edge. If they release at the power house, and you won't hear the siren... it will come up 6 feet.
