 Where to get shad at Texoma

I'll be at Texoma this weekend and taking the family striper fishing. We're probably going to be using shad since they don't have a lot of casting experience. Can someone give some pointers on where to catch some shad? I'm not real familiar with Texoma but we're staying between Highport and Mill Creek.

I was there yesterday and back by the boat ramp in Eisenhower was full of shad.
I am a Senager. (Senior teenager) I have everything that I wanted as a teenager, only 50 years later. I get an allowance every month. I have PU truck and a bass boat, I am blessed.
Conscience never acquits, it either accuses or excuses.
