Tbend ain't all that bad. If you're around mid lake cross the Pendleton into Louisiana and go to Fisherman's Galley. I've always liked that place. Everything is fried including the corn on the cob. It is pretty good though if you need a fried fish/frog leg fix and you have taken your Lipitor.

No, thats East Fork.
All I wish is to have that fishery come back like it fished from 2007-2013. Will it ever? Some of my most memorable times ever fishing was during that span, mostly in Mexican waters. Id eat rocks if only that wish would come true.

been couple years since I've been there but the breakfast taco at stripes/Valero was best I've ever had and holiday restaurant had both a good regular hamburger steak and a good chicken fried steak....

Tinas for breakfast and the steak house or rincons for dinner, no complaints from me. Fished Falcon last week for two days! Ate at both above places. Excellent food and excellent friendly service! Had a nice relaxing trip and caught plenty of nice fish.

Love sushi if it's cooked right. Honestly people who dont know the difference between sushi and sashimi will probably find some 5 star dining in Zapata..........
