Our neighbors have a few. One of the females is totally insane and you don't want to be within 100 yards of her - and she's as fast as most UTVs. That's totally stupidity getting that close to a buffalo.

This happens every year with regard to people who don't see the danger in getting close to wild animals.
These days people die trying to take the perfect selfie.
Sad a child was involved.

seems to me that the camera operator might have been too close and up towards that girls was the way to get away from all these stupid people. A guy in Pittsburg had Buffalo for a while, he got rid of them swore they was the meanest critters god ever produced

Anybody that's spent any time in Yellowstone can attest to the fact that this happens CONSTANTLY. Not little girls getting flung into the treetops, but just yahoos that get too close to animals. I worked there out of high school, and I'd literally get questions like, "what time do you put the animals away at night". I **** you not.
The tourons view bison as big, dumb cattle. They are soooooo off base.

Sad a child was involved. I totally agree. Im wondering what triggered the bison to go after that girl. Plenty of people were walking around and up there. She was wearing a yellow shirt. Its not like she was taunting it (at least that we can see on video). But I agree that people are generally not aware wild animals are dangerous.
