Was wondering if any of y’all use artificial only. I bass fish mainly and have all kinds off spoons and flukes. Wondering if I’m spinning my wheels or good idea to even try. Probably hit Twok first then Texoma next. Couple days at each lake

I assume your talking about stripers. I fish for stripers and only use artifical baits. I fish mostly Whitney. I use Alabama umbrella rigs. Use a 1oz chartruse jig head 4-5" green, silver flute. White or silver or chartruse swim baits on other 4 branches. Troll about 2.5 mph, humps and ridges. I use a lot of line, 100-150 yards. Have pretty good sucess, not as much as guides using shad, but alot of fun bring them in from 150 yards. Just my 2 cents.

That's very good and helpful advice. Thank you for sharing that info.

I also us nothing but artifical baits. I use a hell bender run a 2 foot line from the hell bender put a swivel then another foot of line and put a sassy shad on it. From the swivel I run another one about a foot and half and tie on a pet spoon. I troll with this about 3-4 boat lengths behind I have preety good luck with this I catch sand bass, crappie, black bass, hi bride and even cat fish. I also fish with slabs, little georges and rattle traps. I have fished tawak with all of these baits they work pretty good on almost any lake you decide to fish on. Hope this helps you.

Us Lake Ray Hubbard boys mostly fish artificial year round. Slabs, mepps, arigs, swim bait, fluke. Big spoon for july and August. Etc.

Same here...arty only guy. I've caught quite a few Hybrids in the last couple months. Some trolling with the hellbender, jet diver (don't care too much for it though) and jigging various lures once I locate a school.

But I have found on my lake they shut down pretty quick once you find them...

Use your graph to find fish and throw swim baits, 1 1/2 oz slabs. Spoons, And a rigs. Check all the points and one of them will have fish. Look for schooling fish . Always a few hybrid in the mess.
Main thing is using the graph to see the fish.
