 How much acerage

Something I have been day dreaming about for a while is to move to a house on some acerage (I live in a mobile community now) and I am beat down by the feeling of being hemmed in so I been thinking, how much acerage is needed for quiet, serenity and no road noise, ect??, does not seem like 2 acres is enough so I am thinking something between 15 and 30 acres for complete solitude. What say you oh wise one's of the TFF?? This daydream is based on one day having a out of the blue massive financial windfall  But still want to know, how much is enough?

Its not the amount of land its the traffic going by on the nearest road. Dead end roads are the best.

Thanks for the reply's so far.
In my ideal scenario I would be so far off the road I would not know about traffic passing by, and would be alerted to anyone entering the driveway via sensors

Were I bordering busy roads the benefit of having a nice "spread" would be negated. Location location location.

I used to live on 28 acres with two ponds with a county road on the front and about 2 miles to the nearest road on the back side. We sold it and moved closer to where my wife and I worked to a 5 acre place. I see more deer (doe) than on the old place but miss the larger place.

Im torn, I would either want 160+ or none at all at this point in my life. A couple acres seems like too much of a chore for me.
