It's hard for me to fathom that a human body doing a spacewalk (as well as in the inside) outside of the ISS is traveling that fast.

Its all relative. There is no gravity where they are at. They dont feel it at all. There is no atmosphere to cause resistance. Just standing in one spot here on earth, the earth is spinning at roughly 1000 mph. So as Im writing this we are all going 1000 mph.
