People are fed up with the San Juan Mayor and want her to resign. It's actually the Governor that they want to resign. I'm going in October. I hope all this mess is cleared up by then. Cruise ships are already avoiding San Juan.

People are fed up with the San Juan Mayor and want her to resign. It's actually the Governor that they want to resign. I'm going in October. I hope all this mess is cleared up by then. Cruise ships are already avoiding San Juan. I'm going there in 3 weeks for work. Might be a bit too interesting.

Also the people of PR are beginning to figure out where many of those billions in hurricane relief that was sent to the island ended up, and they're none too happy about it. Apparently the local justice department is either inept or paid off and nothing is being done to the crooks that skimmed all that relief aid. It may take the feds moving in to get anything accomplished.
