These pictures use to be a slide show and hope they work for some that have ask about this. I will try to make a video very soon, but until then lets see if this will help. Skip This was a Crosscut strip that I used on this, but a Zonker can be tired the same way or it can be tied on as a tail hanging off the end of the hook and tied on at the hook near the bend and then either chenille can be used for the body or just add a Crosscut strip for the body. At this stage use a drop of Super Glue at the whip finish done at the place the hide is tired in. Then wrap the strip to the head and trap it. Then hold back the hair and start your wrapping the thread to make the neck. I also should say normally I use Red Thread for the neck and just didn't on this one.

Thank you guys! I just wanted to show how I tie my crosscut strips and really I can tie the Zonker type the same way while pulling the hair back, but you can tie using both at the same time. There are a lot of ways to tie Rabbit and here is a picture of a different way to use the Zonker Strips. What I did on this little jig is use Tear Mender to glue the two strips (just pieces of strips) together to make a two color tail. I did this like 10 years ago or so and would make a smaller neck or maybe just use chenille for the body. Skip
