jvc58dke Outdoorsman J Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 183	I agree on the simple palamor knot with the tag end through. I like the Owner Mosquito Hook in a 1 or 1/0. The swivel hooks seem like another point of failure and also something to get snagged in the grass.

jvc58dke Outdoorsman J Joined: Mar 2008 Posts: 183	I don't think the braid size matters if you are using a leader. I just use the 30lb braid because it is about the same size as the 8lb fluoro leader and I think makes a cleaner knot when they are the same size.
