Just general discussion. Looking to update my graphs eventually. Which brand do y'all think is at the top of the list right now and why?
I run Lowrance currently and am not biased.

Everybody will have their own opinion. You probably need to go to BPS or somewhere they have different ones on display that you can play with and see how to navigate the various menus. That being said, I will put my 2 cents in for Garmin. If it is in your budget nothing can compare to Livescope. And I know Lowrance has their live sight but it is more like Garmin's 1st generation Panoptix in my opinion. The Echomap Ultra series is pretty awesome. Good luck.

Id say it really depends on how much you want to spend. What are your wants & must haves?

HDS LIVE will be best suited for upgrading what you already have.

At this point in time I would look a Humminbird and Garmin.

Humminbird if you think you might be interested in their 360 technology.

Garmin if you think you might be interested in their LiveScope technology.

360 and LiveScope are two different sonar ideas. Both have a solid place.

You may want both for your B.O.A.T. (stands for Break Out Another Thousand)

.
