Luckily and finally we have big schools of feeding sandbass on the main lake! I just throw a spoon into these big schools of feeding fish and reel it back really really fast. It’s great fun and it never gets old. If you want your grandkids to see one of the phenomenal things of nature you need to get them on the lake now.
The big hybrids march to a different beat, they are mainly living deep and most the time it seems like they just don't want to bite much of anything but we keep trying and testing them until something starts working out for us.
These fish are a real blessing for the angler who likes a big fight on the other end of the line, and I'm going to say it Hybrid Striper are just DELICIOUS! This is my last week to guide for the summer so I’ll keep you posted the best I can on what the fish are doing.
I'm now booking for the 2020 season. If you want one of the prime date's next year, this is your best chance to get the dates you really want.
Bob Holmes the original sandbass hybrid fishing guide on Richland chambers and still the lake record holder.
