My fishing buddy and I fished there yesterday. Great job by the city of Alvarado. My favorite lake and now my favorite boat ramp and parking lot.

That little bitty lake is about to get destroyed. Seems to be more people swimming and bank fishing the times I've been, that's always on a Monday morning...even before the new ramp and parking lot

It has been nice for the last 2 years being able to fish with no other boats around. But I'm glad its finally done.

The park looks great! It's been super full the last 2 weekends and Last Wednesday evening also. Tonight the Concession stand will be open for the Working Man's Tournament. Y'all stop and get a Home Made Old Fashioned Root Beer and BBQ Brisket Sandwich or two!

If thinking bout fishing lake Alvarado get there early counted 15 boats Friday at 6:20 am parking lot was full almost no where to park just a heads up gd luck

Well that was fast!!! OK, sarcasm aside, Im glad its finally done. Drove by a couple weeks ago. Looks good. Not a lot of extra parking but that hillside property was limited in space.
