I haven't gotten out to Lake Lewisville in a while and I have some kids I'd like to put some little kids on some easy fishing. Usually around this time of the year the white bass school on top, anytime, but especially mid day. Has anyone seen or heard that they are going? Not looking for any spots, I know all the usuals, just gathering up to date intel. Thanks in advance.

i haven't seen any schooling yet. the lake is being drawn down and the white bass and hybrid bite has been terrible. I'd fish for crappie if I were you. there are small whites in the lake dallas cut.

Was out last Sunday and it was very tough early. Couldn't find any fish grouped up at all. Zero bites.
About 11:30, found a solid line on the graph at 8-10' around Deadman's. Hung out there for a few minutes fishing bottom.

The topwater action started about 11:45 and we left them still going strong at 12:30.
We probably caught 100 fish or so easy. Problem was, if you put them all together, you wouldn't have had enough to make a fish sammich. grin

Tons of 7" - 8" fish chasing 1" ghost minnows.

I fished last Tuesday and Wednesday, Tuesday me and the daughter caught 27 and on our way back to the ramp they were schooling just south of the toll bridge. On Wednesday me and the wife caught out 2 man limit and 90% of it came from schooling fish. For the right price i might tell you where they were schooling the 2nd day. The fish aren't in the community spots and you have to find them, another words they aren't at the Lake Dallas cut and most of the fish we caught at party cove cut were under's.

I have to pick up my boat from McGill's this afternoon and my son will be with me. I'd like to put him on some #s. I don't know much about sandy fishing other than to cast at them if I see them. Not knowing the community holes, would it be worth hitting some main lake points, or is it going to be tough on us?

Ha, so what's the price? Glad they are starting to be found. Thanks for the replies, been out of town so just now getting back to this. We are going to get out and try to find them next week.

Found multiple schools on top yesterday around lake park toward twin trees. No size to speak of though.

Ended up with a 2 man limit Saturday morning, No schooling action but call 99% of them slabbing. I think they are just now starting to settle out due to all of the high water. I have caught more good size fish in the last 2 weeks than i have all year. Hopefully it will stay this way for a while longer.

Late start yesterday, I have not fished Lewisville in months. Found small sand bass by party cove. They were on top for a bit but they were very small.
