Now that I have your attention, which do you prefer wood floors or carpet in your bedroom? Remodeling and we cant decide. All other floors are wood already.

We just built a house and went with no carpet at all-
I can let you know in a while-

What has happed to you does not define who you are-

HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

My house is carpet in bedrooms and wood everywhere else. I dont like getting out of bed barefoot on cold hard floors.

We have wood floors and use area rugs around the bed.

Carpet. Just had all new installed. Considered wood until everyone who had wood said, "We bought some rugs to put down over the wood to protect the wood and make it nicer for bare feet". I suppose eventually, we will go back to the old flooring method. Dirt.

Went with carpet in bedrooms. Was going to put wood and then rugs on top of it which made no sense. So carpet it is and can do wood later if wanted .

Some of the best advice regarding flooring IMHO, came from my youngest son in law. He said "Put down whatever YOU like. It won't matter when you go to sell the house, the new people won't like the color of the wood, or the carpet, or the tile anyway."
